Reservations are available for groups renting 10 boats or more or for events requiring guided instruction.

Renting fewer than 10 boats? No reservation needed! Simply stop by—boats rotate off the water quickly, so wait times are typically under 15 minutes (and often less at our quieter locations).

Guided Instruction
New to paddling? Enhance your experience by adding a skilled instructor to your rental. With a small group ratio of 10 to 1, our instructors provide personalized guidance tailored to your group’s needs. This service is available at $100 per hour or $350 for a half-day (4 hours). Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to improve their skills!
Unguided Groups
Groups with children must ensure a sufficient number of adults accompany them on the water. Refer to our child-to-adult ratio policy for details.

Camp Questions
Yes! We have close relationships with the local boards of health and follow all Massachusetts Camp Regulations. Also we are partnering with the American Camp Association in 2025 to ensure we are following the best national standards for camp.
This camp must comply with regulations of the MDPH & be license by the LBOH. Parents have the right to review upon request: background checks, healthcare and discipline policies, and grievance procedures.Yes! All of our camp counselors are qualified with at least CPR, First Aid and Nationally recognized boating safety certifications. All training from US USSailing, USRowing and other national boating organizations are kept up to date. We make sure that we have at least a 1:10 ratio of camp counselors to campers.
Yes - ½ day options are available at Hopkinton for the kids camps.
Yes! All campers and camp staff must always wear Coast Guard approved Type III life jackets when on the water or docks. Rowing camp attendees are the exception to this rule. Unless they are weak swimmers or they do not know how to swim, rowers will not be wearing life jackets.
There are also times the campers and staff are in the water doing boating instruction or exercises. Life jackets must always be worn. Examples are kayaking rescues, sailing capsize recovery or just learning on a Stand-Up Paddleboard!
Campers should arrive in quick-drying clothes over a swimsuit, with a refillable water bottle, sunscreen (applied and packed), lunch, towel, hat, sunglasses, rain gear (if needed), and closed-toe water shoes. Flip flops are not allowed.
Yes, campers must be comfortable in and around water, able to swim 50 yards, and tread water for 2 minutes. Life jackets are worn at all times during water activities.
Camp is never canceled due to rain. Activities may move indoors or shift focus, and on high-wind days, campers may paddle or do land-based instruction instead of sailing.
New England weather changes quickly—pack layers! Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen for hot days; sweatshirts or rain jackets for cooler/rainy ones.
Yes. Type III US Coast Guard-approved life jackets are provided and required for campers and staff anytime on the docks or in boats (except some rowing scenarios).
Yes. Campers need a recent (within 18 months) physical and immunization record. Medication authorization forms are required for any medicine, including EpiPens. If your child goes to public school you should have all that is needed.
No. Campers must bring their own lunch and snacks. Please avoid packing items that need refrigeration.
