Our adult sailing classes are your gateway to adventure—whether you’re brand new or ready to grow your skills. From your first tack to mastering the helm, you’ll gain confidence, build lasting memories, and join a vibrant community of sailors.
Start with Beginner 1 to learn the basics, then level up with jib handling in Beginner 2 or explore larger boats in our Keelboat course. With expert instructors, beautiful lakes, and a hands-on approach, there’s no better place to learn. Membership includes classes, or you can join à la carte—either way, your sailing journey starts here.


Beginner 2 Sailing
Equipment: Hunter 15 sailboats, Mainsail and jib
Prerequisite: Beginner 1 & Helmsman Certification, or test out

Course Description:
Embark on an exciting journey with our Adult Beginner II Sailing Course, designed for those eager to advance their sailing skills. This comprehensive course is tailored to build on your foundational knowledge learned in Beginner 1, enhancing your understanding and practical abilities by adding a jib and teaching you how to balance the sails and boat so they work together.
Beginner 1 Sailing
Sails: Mainsail only

Basic Keelboat
Equipment: O’Day 20s, Starwind 19, International 110
Prerequisites: Helmsman, US Sailing Small Boat
Course Goal: Basic Keelboat Certification
Location: Worcester
Price: Included in sailing membership
Course Overview:
Embark on a sailing adventure with our Basic Keelboat course, designed to provide comprehensive training on keelboat sailing. This course is taught on our diverse fleet, including O’Day 20s, O’Day 22, and Starwind 19 boats, offering hands-on experience in various conditions.
