Regatta Point Children Programs
Regatta Point Community Sailing offers three programs for children. All three of our programs allow participants to see firsthand how responsibility and collaboration impact individual and group success.
Summer Camp begins June 21 and running for 9 weeks. This program is for children aged 9-16 who have limited sailing experience.

Junior Membership is for children aged 12 - 18 and have some sailing experience. Usually experience come from two or more weeks in our Summer Camp. This program is a summer long program broken up into two 4 week sessions with a week's break in-between. The program is designed for children who really enjoy sailing and want to peruse more in-depth sailing techniques and possible get on staff.
Deckhands is our tailor made after school program for students. It runs in the spring and fall and teaching children boating fundamentals.
Safety at Regatta Point Community Sailing is important. While many of our staff members are life guard certified and we supply life jackets, participants must be able to swim 75 yards and tread water for 3 minutes. We have an excellent safety record. Trained staff members constantly supervise the sailing area and we have safety launches with radios ready to assist anyone in need.
